Here’s a something I wondered about: when the white smoke was seen, and the bells rung, how long did it take to fill up St. Peter’s? Where did all these people come from? Did they just quit their work and ran over to the Vatican? Is there a law that says that everybody has a break when there’s a new pope elected?
