3 Quarks Daily’s coverage of the 30th anniversary of e-mail spam, I was reminded that today it’s the 63rd anniversary of (the Dutch) Memorial Day. If today’s your birthday, Happy Birthday. If not, maybe you should attend a local Memorial or Liberation Day event (which is tomorrow).
We were notified of floodings in New Brunswick, last Friday, the day before our drive to Saint John. Arriving here, nothing out of the ordinary seem to have happened: As far as I know, the local Street Hockey Tournament is still on. Plenty of people around too. No panic. At all.
