Two movies today: ‘An unfinished life’ and ‘V for Vendetta’.
The first one had the unlikely combination of Redford and Lopez (Jennifer that is), which ended up to be a match that, well, didn’t match Lopez. The story itself was interesting, slow at times, but enjoyable.
V for Vendetta was uninspiring and frequently felt ‘too fast’ and shallow. Interesting are the anchors to several ‘current’ events and characters. And Portman did a reasonable job, particularly when her hair was cut. I read that she was actually looking forward to that scene.
I thought V, which I watched yesterday, utterly boring. (Not to mention I grew irritated by Ms. Portman’s fake British mannerisms, and utterly outrageously fake and overacted British accent.)
This movie, my friend, is a piece of dump.
Constantine is a better movie, with a likable Tilda Swinton. Have at that!

I liked ‘Walk the line’ better.
I liked both of them. But then, I don’t watch many movies. I didn’t like “Lady in the Water” that much.
V for Vendetta left me unable to eat, because of the parallelism I saw between the U.S. and the “future British”.

That and the haircut (I mean, Portman had great hair, right?) were my only reasons to sit and watch until the end the movie
I want to marry Portman. I called it first. You lose.
