Rose Filter Frame



Welcome to my tutorial *S*

Although simple, this is for the intermediate/advanced PSP
user as I have no screen shots.
But I also found out that trying is the best way to learn. *S*

This tutorial was written by me and is ©momentzdesignz

For this tutorial you will need the following:

PSP V8
Gold pattern - here
Plugin - Filters Unlimited - here

1 - Open your image, duplicate and save the original
2 - Background color set to Gold pattern
3 - Foreground - Set to light color from your image
4 - Image > Add Border - 3 px, color - white
5 - Select the border with your magic wand - tolerance 0 and flood fill with your gold pattern
6 - Selections > Select none
7 - Image > Add Border - 3 px, color - white
8 - Select border with magic wand and flood fill with your color
9 - Selections > Select none
10 - Image > Add Border - 3 px, color - white
11 - Select the border with your magic wand - tolerance 0 and flood fill with your gold pattern
12 - Selections > Select None

13 - Image > Add Border - 25 px, color - white
14 - Select the border with your magic wand - tolerance 0 and flood fill with your color
15 - Keep selected
16 - Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited > Special Effects > Venetian Blinds - Vertical
Settings: Density 80 and Shading 32
17 - Selections > Select none

18 - Repeat steps 4 to 12 - [for the 3 small borders]

19 - Image > Add Border - 30 px, color - white
20 - Select with your magic wand and flood fill with your color
21 - Keep Selected
22 - Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited > Distortion Filters > Down the Drain
Setting: Intensity 84
23 - Keep Selected
24 - Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel
Settings: Preset Bevel #10, width 6, smoothness 40, depth 10, ambiance 0, shininess 7,
color - white, angle 316, Intensity 39, elevation 35
25 - Selections > Select none

26 - Image > Add Border - 3 px, color - white
27 - Select with magic wand and flood fill with gold pattern
28 - Selections > Select none

29 - Add decorative corners if you wish
30 - Re-size, add your watermark and save as a .jpg
