Candy Cane Frame

PSP X - Beginner Level
This tutorial is simple and could be done in any version.

Supplies Needed:

Image of choice - a darker image shows the candy cane up much better.

NOTE: Please keep the name of the tube artist in tact - thank you!

Set this randomly or to your liking to fill in this frame part.
23 - Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel - see screen shot below:

25 - Image > Add Borders > 3 px and flood fill with your gold pattern.

The purpose of this frame was to have the Candy Cane
hanging on the corner of the frame. :o)
27 - I copied the tube to the frame as a new layer and re-sized it by 70%
28 - Image > Free Rotate > see screenshot below

29 - Add a small drop shadow - this depending on your color and what you like.
30 - Duplicate this image and then > Image > Mirror
31 - Merge the 2 layers with the candy canes on them.

32 - Still having my 2 layers open, I went back to the main image layer
and erased the corners so the frame was exposed,
thus making the candy canes appear to be hanging on the inner frame. :o)

33 - Add watermark, re-size and save as a jpg.

And we are finished. I hope you have enjoyed this simple tutorial *S*
