He argued that morals were stiffling creativity or even human progress. I agreed with the fact that some morals were typically overblown (and practically misused) by a certain type of people. In the heat of the discussion, were I acknowledged some of his points but where he refused to let my arguments sink in, I walked out  and returned with a hammer. &#8216;Here&#8217;, I said. Kill me&#8217;.\n<\/p>\n<p>My friend was astounded, shocked and muttered that he couldn&#8217;t just &#8216;kill me like this&#8217;.  On the question why, he finally agreed that he wouldn&#8217;t be able to kill anyone until he was hurt himself. As I didn&#8217;t hurt him by just discussing things, killing me just for being right wouldn&#8217;t be &#8216;morally right&#8217;. So, I concluded, where did that moral he was talking about come from?
