The former Microsoft Chief architect (and yes, if you&#8217;re a programmer you recognize his name for the person who invented <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/library\/default.asp?url=\/library\/en-us\/dnvsgen\/html\/hunganotat.asp\">the Hungarian notation<\/a> [link goes to Microsoft, so is mangled tenderly by FireBird and other open source browsers]), is now a billionaire aiming to revolutionize the programming world once again.\n<\/p>\n<p>I have still no idea what the whole idea is behind the software as described in the article. Simonyi wants to relieve the programmer from being all these different roles they nowadays seem to have. However, he envisions <em>corporate accountants<\/em> to change a program using this &#8216;visual&#8217; software, putting them in the programmer&#8217;s seat. What&#8217;s the difference between a programmer that has some basic understanding of a business process and an accountant who has a basic understanding of programming? None.
