Additionally the HRM announced safe locations for the people in the areas under the evacuation order, which can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.region.halifax.ns.ca\/mediaroom\/pressrelease\/pr2003\/030928hurricane3.html\">be found here<\/a> (link to HRM EMO site).\n<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it&#8217;s just me being sarcastic, but I find the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca\/warnings\/sws_e.html?Prov=nss\">latest WeatherOffice&#8217;s statement  laughable<\/a>. Partly because it&#8217;s all written in capitals, giving a  feeling of <em>urgency<\/em> or danger.\n<\/p>\n<p>Update: ATV does have reporters in the field something I consider stupidity.  It is stormy outside and in this weather it&#8217;s much-o safer inside.  I presume that both Halifax bridges will be closed for traffic sooner or later, particularly since the hurricane appears to make a landfall around Sambro.
