Good news then."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=dropcap>A<\/span>pparantly the asteroid that was supposed to hit us in 2014, isn&#8217;t going to hit us. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/news\/960340.asp?0cv=TB10&#038;cp1=1\">False alarm, say the scientists from NASA&#8217;s JPL<\/a> (sorry for the pop-ups). After extensive simulations the JPL was able to plot a more &#8216;detailed&#8217; course for the asteroid which led to the final conclusion of &#8216;impact possibilities to go to zero&#8217;.\n<\/p>\n<p>MSNBC&#8217;s article also has the (now famous) Torino scale that is used to classify asteroid threats.
