In most instances drivers stopped for me, waving that I could go on.<\/p>\n<p>I guess, in a way, it&#8217;s good, but in another way, it adds to the confusion for someone who has been &#8216;trained&#8217; under different circumstances. It could be worse, though: the other moment, I saw a cyclist just crossing the road on a <em>crosswalk<\/em>, without bothering to watch for any traffic.
