I&#8217;ve been working on changing the layout accordingly, something that involved plenty of PHP stuff because the original layout of a theme didn&#8217;t fit what I wanted to see. I have no plans for an immediate change over: after all, this bare-to-the-bones template has always been fast enough and has served me quite well the last couple of years.\n<\/p>\n<p>That said: Microsoft launched the Zune 2 player, which, as you may have found out had a <a href=\"http:\/\/news.google.com\/news?hl=en&#038;ned=&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;q=Zune+reviews&#038;btnG=Search\">couple of favourable reviews<\/a>. What&#8217;s unforgivable is Microsoft&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zune.net\/en-US\/\">world wide rollout<\/a>: that is, it appears that the world is actually only made out of the US. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zuneoriginals.net\">Zune Originals<\/a> says it so prominently:\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"quote\">Sorry, this site is currently unavailable from your location. Please visit Zune.net for the latest news and information.\n<\/p>\n<p>OK. Maybe <em>in a few years<\/em> then?<sup>1<\/sup>\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this morning I ended up at Luis Sinco&#8217;s amazing story (and pictures) of the Marlboro Marine, which is about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/nation\/la-na-marlboro11nov11,0,2990945,full.story\">an Iraq veteran returning home<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>And last but not least, MetaFilter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metafilter.com\/66495\/Judgment-Day-on-NOVA\">has a discussion-thread about the upcoming PBS documentary<\/a> about the Kansas trial.  It is a long thread but worth every minute reading.
