Apparently, <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2007\/04\/02\/news\/daylight_savings.reut\/\">power companies in the US didn&#8217;t notice a big change<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"quote\">&#8220;There might have been a small increase in morning lighting, and a slightly larger decline in evening lighting usage,&#8221; said a spokeswoman at New Jersey utility Public Service Enterprise Group Inc, &#8220;but that modest decline will have no impact on its overall sales or earnings.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>What was Congress thinking?\n<\/p>\n<p>This also reminds me that when I was over in The Netherlands, it appeared to be getting darker sooner than over here in Nova Scotia.
