The main point of discussion is <em>how to filter out programmers<\/em> from not-programmers by asking them to write a simple program. I&#8217;ve got a better idea: why not ask new hires for their <em>math grades<\/em>? That would take care of the whole problem!<sup>1<\/sup>\n<\/p>\n<p>T<a href='http:\/\/www.hoogervorst.ca\/arthur\/?attachment_id=1439' rel='attachment wp-att-1439' title='I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not what I am'><img class=\"alignright\" src='http:\/\/www.hoogervorst.ca\/arthur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/dear_use_r_buzz_offl.thumbnail.jpg' alt='I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not what I am' \/><\/a>he other thing that caught my eye is the EssJay <em>problematique<\/em>: What to do with a person who misrepresented himself and the organization that is <a href=\"http:\/\/ascii.textfiles.com\/archives\/000329.html\">unwilling to see the ethics problem<\/a>. Maybe it&#8217;s time that Wikipedia (the organization) takes a critical look of itself.
