Probably not as bad as the heatwave <a href=\"http:\/\/hoogervorst.dyndns.org\/~alfons\/wordpress\/?p=309\">that keeps continuing in Europe<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.expatica.com\/source\/site_article.asp?subchannel_id=19&#038;story_id=31657&#038;name=Netherlands+swelters+in+second+July+heatwave+\">Expatica<\/a>).\n<\/p>\n<p>Curiously, I wasn&#8217;t aware of the fact that tropical storms could just form <a href=\"http:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2006\/WEATHER\/07\/18\/tropical.weather.ap\/index.html\">at the coast of Carolina<\/a>: I mean, how <em>tropical<\/em> can the Atlantic Ocean be on our side of the planet?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier today, tropical storm &#8216;Beryl&#8217; brought some relief (or rather, a lot of rain) to our part of the world: the last couple of days (week probably) it was muggy and hot with temperatures around the 25 and higher.
