For the first time evar in politics (Metafilter-style), there&#8217;s a good chance that a twins are going to be holding the posts for President <em>and Prime minister<\/em>. <a href=\"http:\/\/scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com\/international.cfm?id=1000152006\">In Poland<\/a>. &#8216;Twins in Government&#8217;: it could have been a great name for an episode of &#8220;The Muppet show&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s bad to have people joke about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polishjoke.com\/polish_joke-index.htm\">Polish people<\/a>. Add to that <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twinsworld.com\/jokes.html\">jokes about twins<\/a><\/em> and you have an  explosive mix that will haunt twins for the next decade. If only we could send the team of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/22minutes\/\">&#8216;This hour has two twins in it&#8217;<\/a><sup>1<\/sup> to Poland.\n<\/p>\n<p><small><sup>1<\/sup> I meant &#8216;This hour has 22 minutes&#8217;<br \/>\n<strong>update 7\/14<\/strong>: It looks like the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/world\/europe\/5179886.stm\">new PM was sworn<\/a> in by his twin brother!<br \/>\n<\/small><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know when the world is close to an end when twins take office.
