For example, &#8216;hockey&#8217; is a canucket (as most Canadians would agree that hockey is a Canadian invention. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hoogervorst.ca\/arthur\/?p=527\">People of Dutch origin may not agree though<\/a>). The typical bi-langual packaging of products (food products) is a &#8216;canucket&#8217; too. <strike style=\"background-color:black;\">However, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Poutine\">poutine<\/a> is not a canucket because it is obviously something that most Canadians have never heard of (yet)<\/strike><sup>1, 2<\/sup>. Also: French Canadians often use the French version of the word &#8216;canucket&#8217;, which is &#8216;canuqu&egrave;tte&#8217;.\n<\/p>\n<p><small><sup>1<\/sup> Poutine <em>is<\/em> a canucket.<br \/>\n<sup>2<\/sup> Blackened.
